This program is a version of the Object Attribute Reference tool, which appears in the Pro*Tools toolbar as "Widget Attr Help" starting in Progress 9.1, but with the additional handle types available in OpenEdge 10.0A.

Some History:  
This is a tool I originally wrote years ago in Progress V7.  With the advent of the POSSE initiative in V9, I contributed the code, which was accepted, and the tool appeared in commercial releases of Progress 9.1 on the Pro*Tools toolbar.  Version 9.1D included several new object types; I updated the program to include these object types and submitted it to POSSE, but it was never accepted and therefore the updated code never appeared in a commercial release of Progress or OpenEdge.  So it would seem that it's up to you to keep your Object Attribute Reference tool up to date with new Progress versions, if you use this tool.  This version includes all object type as of OpenEdge 10.0A

widattrs.w can be run in a variety of ways.  In addition to the Pro*Tools toolbar, it can also be run from the Procedure Editor or AppBuilder, or as the startup procedure (-p) in it's own session.  To update the version that ships with Progress (i.e. that is run from Pro*Tools)  you will need to compile it, then replace the old .r with the new .r in dlc/gui/protools.pl.  But my preferred method of running this program is in it's own session; just create a shortcut on your desktop, Quick Launch bar, or Start menu, with the command line: C:\dlc\bin\prowin32.exe -p C:\WRK\widattrs.w
